Oxfordshire Cricket is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Sixes Party Cricket, the cricket-themed entertainment venue, to support and empower young leaders through the Future Leaders Academy and strengthen the long-term sustainability of cricket in Oxfordshire.
This three-year collaboration, running until December 2027, will see Sixes hosting key events, including the annual launch event for the Future Leaders Academy during the October half-term. In addition, Sixes will play a pivotal role in fundraising efforts, supporting events designed to generate vital funds that will help sustain and expand the Academy for years to come.
Through this partnership, Sixes and Oxfordshire Cricket aim to provide inspirational opportunities for young people, fostering leadership skills, promoting inclusivity, and encouraging greater community participation in the sport. Sixes will also be actively involved in the Academy’s reward and recognition event, presenting a prestigious award category and further demonstrating their dedication to youth development.
In return, Oxfordshire Cricket will proudly feature Sixes on all Future Leaders Academy materials, certificates, and branding, while also promoting the Sixes Gives Back programme to all participants, parents, clubs, and members. The partnership will also see Sixes gaining increased exposure through Oxfordshire Cricket’s digital and print marketing channels, ensuring broad visibility among the cricketing community.
Speaking on the partnership, Nick Pinhol, Managing Director at Oxfordshire Cricket, said:
“We are thrilled to welcome Sixes as a key partner. Their passion for cricket and community aligns perfectly with our mission to develop the next generation of leaders in the sport. Through this partnership, we are not only creating unforgettable experiences for young people but also securing a long-term, sustainable future for cricket in Oxfordshire.”
Michael Hay, Head of Commercial at Sixes Party Cricket, added:
“We are excited to support the Future Leaders Academy and give back to the cricketing community. Hosting events at Sixes will provide a fun and engaging environment for participants, and we look forward to working closely with Oxfordshire Cricket to make a lasting impact.”
