This programme is supplementary to the Emerging Players Programme that exists to support Pathway players with the early signs of long-term potential. In recent years this programme has been known locally as the Developing Players Programme which has provided an individualised programme of support to select players.
We target the identification of players with the greatest potential who may be able to transition onto our Emerging Players Programme in the future. The longitudinal opportunities within the programmes provides selected players with time investment and the crucial environments that aim to develop, progress and enhance the core foundations of future performance.
Our Early Potential programme is a solely self-funded talent development programme and there is a charge per player to take advantage of the development opportunities afforded. The player charge contributes to various costs associated with the programme, including facility hire, coaching and specialist coach provision, staffing costs, equipment and administration.
