An additional umpire training programme for new and aspiring umpires.
This 2-day course is aimed at those who have completed the ECB introduction to umpiring course or who have some umpiring or cricketing experience and wish to improve, update or refresh their knowledge and skills base. It is also open to any scorers who wish to better understand the umpiring role. This 2-day course aims to cover the necessary Laws and field craft to form a bridge between the ECB Umpire Course and League cricket umpiring. There will be some pre course work and homework between the two days of the course. (It will not be marked, though you will be questioned on it!)
