- The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) regulations that govern the Qualification and Registration of cricketers apply, with only players ‘Qualified for England’ eligible to represent Oxfordshire within ECB competitions. Overseas players are not permitted, even unpaid.
-
- The Oxfordshire Cricket Board (OCB) is responsible for undertaking their own checks to ensure that a player is eligible to play against the relevant eligibility regulations and for completing the required registration processes for all players with the ECB.
-
- Within the Women’s programme there are no restrictions on “homegrown” players or total aggregate age. However, there are principles governing Player Movement and Loans, and player approaches which form part of the ECB regulatory requirements for the ECB Women’s Domestic Structure. The following regulations need to be facilitated to safeguard team consistency and competition integrity throughout Tier 1 to 3.

- 3.1. A Tier 2 County can feature a maximum of three Tier 1 players in any playing XI.
-
- 3.2. A Tier 3 County can feature a maximum of three Tier 2 players in any playing XI.
-
- 3.3. Tier 1 players (senior) are not permitted to play for a Tier 3 County.
-
- 3.4. For loan agreements within the same Tier of competition, the player cannot play for the loan County and parent County in the same competition during the period of the loan.
-
- 3.5. A Tier 1 Academy player will be permitted to play senior cricket for a Tier 1 County, Tier 2 County or Tier 3 County during the season via the following routes:

-
- 3.7. Tier 2 County = loan (no minimum or maximum length of loan).

- 3.8. Tier 3 County = loan (no minimum or maximum length of loan).
-
- 3.9. - 3.10. Within all scenarios for Tier 1 Academy players, the Tier 1 County ultimately has overall priority / “ownership” of where the player plays and when.
