
Funding
Funding support for cricket clubs is key to enabling clubs to deliver the game to players, volunteers, officials and their communities. There are a number of funding options available to affiliated cricket clubs in Oxfordshire, please find below the details on the current loans and grants that can be accessed.
Before applying to any of the funding options below, or other eligible funding pots, it is highly recommended that you contact the Participation & Growth team at Oxfordshire Cricket so you access the support, guidance and advice you and your club require. EWCT Interest Free Loan
The England and Wales Cricket Trust (EWCT) Interest Free Loan Scheme provides finance to clubs for capital projects to help them build and ensure a sustainable future.
Clubs affiliated to Oxfordshire Cricket can apply for up to £50,000 (with a junior section) or £20,000 (without a junior section) for the purpose of improving their buildings, equipment, fine turf or non-turf areas or purchasing land for cricket purposes.
Applications to the loan scheme are through the ECB’s Investment Management System, and clubs who are eligible can register and apply at https://ims.ecb.co.uk/. Before applying please read the schemes further details and guidance notes, which can be found at EWCT Interest Free Loan Scheme
ECB Emergency Loan
The ECB Emergency Loan Scheme aims to support affiliated cricket clubs during the COVID-19 crisis by providing funding to assist clubs to cover any shortfall in essential day-to-day running and maintenance costs.
Clubs affiliated to Oxfordshire Cricket can apply for up to £5,000 (with a junior section) or £3,000 (without a junior section)
Applications to the loan scheme are through the ECB’s Investment Management System, and clubs who are eligible can register and apply at https://ims.ecb.co.uk/. Before applying, it is highly recommended clubs read the Emergency Loan Scheme guidance notes.
County Grants Scheme
A countywide grant aimed at supporting clubs to create welcoming environments in order to encourage increased participation in playing, officiating, volunteering and spectating. The scheme is due for launch in April 2021.
