Oxfordshire Cricket is looking for an inspiring and driven Pathway Development Officer to help us grow the game, nurture young talent, and create clear opportunities for players to reach their potential.
As Pathway Development Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering our County Age Group, Early Engagement, and targeted talent programmes. Working closely with coaches, clubs, schools, and parents, you’ll ensure every player in our pathway has the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
Location: Flexible within Oxfordshire
Salary: £13,000 per annum (£26,000 FTE)
Contract: 2-year Fixed Term (with potential to extend subject to funding)
Hours: Part-time, 18.75 hours per week (including some evenings/weekends)

What You’ll Do:
- Deliver high-quality coaching and talent development environments as a lead or assistant coach
- Support talent identification and selection for County Age Group and Early Engagement programmes
- Build strong links with schools, clubs, and community cricket to sustain player development
- Provide player feedback, manage programme administration, and coordinate end-of-season awards
- Maintain the highest safeguarding and welfare standards for all players
- Represent Oxfordshire Cricket with professionalism and enthusiasm
What We’re Looking For:
- ECB Core Coach / Level 2 qualification (essential)
- Experience in talent development or player pathway programmes
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with players, parents, and stakeholders
- Ability to plan, organise, and deliver in a dynamic sporting environment
- Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and developing the game for all
Bonus If You Also Have:
- ECB Advanced Coach / Level 3 qualification (or working towards)
- Experience working in county, regional, or national pathway systems
- Knowledge of Oxfordshire cricket communities and structures
