Oxfordshire Cricket is looking for an ambitious and strategic fundraising leader to help us grow the game and deepen our impact across local communities.
As Director of Development and Commercial Partnerships, you’ll lead on generating sustainable income through philanthropy, grant funding, and commercial partnerships. This is your opportunity to shape the future of cricket in Oxfordshire and play a key role in making the sport truly open to all.
Location: Flexible within Oxfordshire
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 full time or part time depending on the preferred candidate with expenses and a bonus scheme to be agreed
Contract: 2-year Fixed Term (with potential to extend subject to funding)
Hours: Full Time or Part Time depending on the preferred candidate

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement a dynamic fundraising and partnerships strategy
- Build and nurture relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and trusts/foundations
- Lead successful funding bids and sponsorship proposals
- Represent Oxfordshire Cricket at key events, raising awareness and impact
- Collaborate closely with coaches and programme leads to align funding with needs
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and data protection standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in fundraising, income generation, or partnership development
- A track record of securing high-value donations or sponsorships
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking, initiative, and ability to work independently
- High organisational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to inclusion and the community power of sport
Bonus If You Also Have:
- Knowledge of the UK fundraising landscape
- Experience in sport, education, youth or community development
- Familiarity with Oxfordshire’s communities or business sector
