Oxfordshire Cricket has confirmed its 12-man squad for the annual National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA) showcase fixture, set to take place this Bank Holiday Monday against Surrey CCC at Thame Town Cricket Club.
The highly anticipated match offers Oxfordshire’s Men’s 1st XI a rare opportunity to test themselves against first-class opposition, with this year’s opponents being one of the most successful sides in recent history. Surrey CCC, inaugural T20 Cup winners in 2003, enter the match as reigning County Championship champions, having claimed the title three years in a row from 2022 to 2024.
The Oxfordshire squad continues to reflect the strength of its talent development system, with two-thirds of the team having progressed through the county’s pathway programme—some now playing professional cricket with partners, Sussex CCC. The only changes to the side from Sunday’s NCCA T20 opener are the return of brothers Hayden and Tristan Rossouw, replacing Sussex CCC professionals Archie Lenham and Henry Rogers.
Play begins at 2:00pm, and all attendees are encouraged to review important information on the Oxfordshire Cricket website regarding admission, parking, catering, and seating.
