Oxfordshire Cricket Announces Squad for Opening Championship Fixture
Oxfordshire Cricket is delighted to announce the twelve-player squad selected to face Cornwall in the opening match of the National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA) Cluberly Championship. The fixture will take place at Banbury Cricket Club.
Max Mannering will captain the side as Oxfordshire begins its red-ball campaign. The squad features four potential debutants in Oliver Armstrong, Amogh Karpe, Ben Lucking and Arjun Ramkumar, all of whom have been named in the Championship squad for the first time. Also returning to the Championship side is Harrison Ward, Oxfordshire’s White Ball captain and homegrown Sussex CCC professional, who makes his first red-ball appearance for the County since 2022.
Play is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM on the opening day.
