Oxfordshire Cricket has named a 12-player squad for the Men’s 1st XI ahead of their opening fixtures in the 2025 National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA) T20 competition. The team will face rivals Berkshire in two T20 matches on Sunday, 25th May 2025, hosted by Challow & Childrey Cricket Club, with the first game starting at 11:00am.

White-ball Captain, Harrison Ward, last season’s NCCA T20 MVP, will leads a squad that blends a core of homegrown talent from the Oxfordshire Pathway with professional experience. Notable changes include the return of Oliver Armstrong and the season debut of pathway product and now Sussex CCC and the Netherlands batter, Zach Lion-Cachet. A thriving relationship with Sussex CCC means that the squad welcomes professional cricketers Archie Lenham and Henry Rogers, both who are set to make their county debuts. New call-ups also include Ahmed Khan, a former Surrey CCC pathway player now at Oxford Brookes University. Absent from the squad is last season’s leading wicket taker for Oxfordshire in T20 cricket, Henry Welch (academic commitments) and brothers Hayden and Tristan Rossouw (family commitments).

Oxfordshire enters the 2025 T20 campaign with high hopes and aims to build on previous successes in the Twenty20 format of the game.
